In the old days actors put on a little makeup and then they acted and a movie was made. Then, they added some special effects, little, simple things to enhance the actors' as they acted. As the years went by special effects, makeup and computers brought a whole new world to the big screen. Now, some of the makeup that is being done is a true work of art and there is no doubt that special effects can really dazzle.
Acting, or the art of acting, has been declining steadily as this technology gets better. The special effects and the makeup can, and from what I have seen lately does, make even some of the worst acting seem stellar. What happened to natural facial expressions, emotions and intensity.
